Signs your getting old?
Saw an ad yesterday for the new Audi A6 where the driver sees a C5 A6 ('97-'04) which reminds him of his childhood.

Artificial Intelligence
After failing with ChatGPT, I downloaded Claude Code.
Spent around $20, and now the RUST framework and app are finally set up correctly. From what I've experienced, Claude's biggest advantage over ChatGPT is its integration with the code directory and terminal. I'm not sure if ChatGPT has a similar feature for navigating folder structures, but if not, there's no way it can compete with Claude.
BTW, I'm currently working on a P2P app for everyday transactions using Holochain. Planning to test it soon within our local community, which heavily relies on bartering and work trades.

Signs your getting old?
Caught up with a friend of mine and his 3yr old son this morning at a local softplay centre.
It wasn't busy and absent of the usual deafening cacophony of shrieking children and bellowing parents too lazy to drag their blubbery arses away from the ridiculously priced coffee and cakes.
At the end of a very enthusiastic campaign of clambering, climbing, sliding and jumping my friend's young pup ran, exhausted but euphoric and jumped into his fathers arms and nestled into his neck with unconditional trust and love. As we walked to our cars his son slipped into a peaceful sleep, unwoken as he was placed in his car seat.
My sons are 19 and 22 and beautiful people but I miss those early years when they're so portable and affectionate.
- Ah thats so nice. My boys are 8 and 10 and they still sometimes climb into bed to get cosy and chat, maybe fall back to sleep. Precious times amid the chaos.DaveO
- My son will be 8 in June. We went to a variety show with my wife and daughter at the high school a few weeks ago. It was over after 9pm, and he crashed outmg33
- in his seat. I carried him from the auditorium, through a huge crowd, out to the car, and savored every bit of it. I enjoyed the smiles from peoplemg33
- as I did it. He's a pretty lightweight kid but I know the days are nearing that only a grave emergency or danger will find me carrying him. A very sweet moment.mg33
- Nobody can tell you how fast they grow up. The cliche doesn’t even do it justice!mort_
