My wife, for next year, prefers a vacation close to home. Honestly, we have everything close by: a pool, the sea, the mountains, and incredible cuisine.
But I need to get out of my surroundings; a change of scenery, climate, people...
That's why I'm planning a week alone for my vacations next year. My car, my bike, and my sketchbooks.

Anyone watching Alien Earth?
I'm finding it baffling in terms of how bad it is, then amazing in the next moment, then dogshit in the next... Like this fight between an Alien in ep 3 was just so so so clunky n awkward. And even the small things... like why try be clever with the music.... Just go all out Jerry Goldsmith and Vangelis.... the metal dad rock shit isn't working as much as I love Tool... With a VHS filter, it's not far off from being a throwaway shitty 90s TV show....
Yet loving the world and concepts. Alien is a bit like Star Wars in that way... even when it's bad I still watch for some reason.
