Got approved for a new roof on my house today!!! I've been so anxious to know if we'd get approved. Recently had some hail, and some leaks into the house. Hoping it's covering roof and gutters and I assume fixing the interior damage.
Outside of our house is a bit bland, beige bricks and siding, sort of a sandy color on the shingles, white gutters. We've been thinking about doing charcoal shingles so that we can get the brick and stone stained gray, and change the siding color as well. ChatGPT image mockups have been so helpful. Crazy to think that even two years ago you'd get lower quality results, and today, it's basically rendered these complex home mockup tools useless.
This is like an early Christmas.

In this phase of crazy inflation and soaring prices—seeing just how nearly impossible it is to save (thank goodness I don't have any expensive vices)... it makes you want to just say "to hell with it" and spend every last cent *right now*.
It’s outrageous; I try to teach my wife and daughters a bit about financial planning for the future, but... the thing is, even *I* don't believe in it anymore.

I have quite a few albums with gatefold sleeves of course, but none come close to this superb Indian pressing of the s/t to the 1978 Bollywood film Shalimar. The music by R. Burman and Asha Bhosle is great in it's own right, but to come in such a lavish fold-out lotus sleeve like this is quite magnificent, see how it unfolds!
