I'm following the news of the earthquake in Asia and feel so sorry for the lovely people of Burma. I had a very memorable visit in the late 80's and never forgot their kindness and hospitality, it was my favourite of all the East Asian countries I travelled in.
- The ancient temple city of Pagan in particular was so beautiful, I still dream about it nearly 40 years later.Gardener
- Looks dope! Nice Brazil teePhanLo
- great tshirthans_glib
- ty, when I set off travelling I took several promo tee's from my old job working in a cinema - still have several nice posters including a rare Brazil oneGardener
- I kid you not, the old fella with my skinny ass was a tour guide for the Shwedagon in Rangoon and introduced himself as Bond, James Bond, lolGardener
- I kept a diary at the time too, lots were in code in case I ever had in confiscated at a border, with tales of debauch enough to put Midnight Express to shame!Gardener

- I've been in Burma for less than 24 hours, but had one of the most fucked up experiences of my life.

Dating in your 40s is weird as fuck. Especially when you’ve not been in it for a couple decades.

- What age range are the women in and are they mostly divorced? Is it weird because of baggage or because they’re all into some kinky ass shit!_niko
- Might as well give up.NBQ00
- Anywhere from 30 to 45 yo. Been about a 50/50 split divorce. It’s been heaps of so far. So many into ethical non monogamy too.thumb_screws

People who make their horrible instant coffee with a spoon AND THEN put the spoon into the sugar bowl. Put the sugar in the mug first, with a clean spoon. Why would you not? Mental.

I'm taking my 12 year old into the city tonight to see his first concert - a PG rapper called Connor Price. My son discovered him on youtube shorts I think and has played me a bunch of his tracks. My first show was U2 Joshua Tree in the spring of 1987. That's a long time ago.
- A good idea as an entertainer to target the kids n tweens audience who are still on the safe side of the fence https://www.youtube.…prophetone

Signs your getting old?
I've had a suspicious bump of skin next to my left nostril since late January. Thought it was a zit - still get them occasionally as an adult but Welbutrin for anxiety has been a magic pill to almost completely put a stop to any acne I'd get.
It's not gone away, getting it looked at in early April with my dermatologist, who I do yearly mole screenings with already. Worried a bit because it looks suspiciously like Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and the Internet is full of photos of what the surgery aftermath is like for that.
Any of you dealt with any skin cancer worries yet? I have 50+ moles around my body so my dermatologist has always had me in that high-risk category. I wish I could go back in time and tell my young college self "just because the apartment complex you live in comes with a free tanning bed membership doesn't mean you should use it." I made very few bad decisions when I was younger but doing that crap was the top of the list.
- hope it's all just a scare...hans_glib
- Hope it's not serious, stay positive.OBBTKN
- Thanks, trying not to freak out but just anxious.mg33
- I had one on my cheek. Dr took a chunk of it for a biopsy and it was negative. I just have a tiny scar where the bump used to be. Its hardly noticeable now.fooler
- I have one behind my eyeball (yeah WTH), doctor found out last year. I have to get it checked every year, and if it's bigger...lajj
- They gonna have to remove it. Modern medecine is awesome. And free. GO Canadalajj

Dog of the Day
Farewell to Coco who's just left this crazy world behind at the age of 16 and a bit.
She loved frisbees, anything dairy and the ocean. She was always fearless, chucking herself into breaking waves on the kind of Australian beaches where tourists go missing.

Punches For:
I'm doing a boring long-cut job at work and don't have much to do otherwise, so have been watching shitty YouTubes and... cutting my nails. Somewhat idly, it seems, because I've not been paying attention and now I've cut them too fucking short and I HATE THAT FEELING. I'VE HATED THAT FEELING SINCE I WAS A KID AND MOTHER WOULD CUT THEM DOWN TO THE BONE AND RRRNGHHNNNNNGH, IT JUST FEELS WRONG.
It's like squeezing cotton wool for me, or what people who don't like nails down a chalkboard feel.
