Culinary vibes ;)
Continuing with my "reborn fixation" with fruit, it's the season for plums, nectarines, peaches, and pears.
Between that and the surplus fruit from the garden, which my father and a friend give us from time to time, there's no way I can eat fat for my body!
- Just destroyed two peachesgrafician
- Natural sugar is still sugar - moderation is good!mort_
- Two pears a day ;)
And yes @mort, true that.OBBTKN - Sugar in fruit is not a problem. Juices, yes but not if you're eating the whole thing.MrT
- Almost time to go apple pickingPonyBoy
- You want to eat fat so it absorbs all those natural sugars. I think a peach has twice the daily limit. Diabetes is real.canoe
- you don't get diabetes from eating fruit. Added sugars and natural sugars are entirely different.MrT

Graffiti art
Was at a week long painting festival in Denmark recently, met a few childhood heroes, listened to a talk by a 70 year old New York subway legend and managed a couple of smaller collaborative paintings with some really good folk.
Always come back so inspired from there, it's a unique place.

Nice!grafician - Was from an Olympics picture set, about pre-digital sports photos. Think it's just the age of the pic.PhanLo
- For everybody, this is the famous Nadia Comaneci, she got perfect 10 in gymnasticsgrafician
- never heard of her, was this in the eastern bloc games or something? was one of the events wall vault?_niko
- In Montreal, she is worldwide famous
https://en.wikipedia…grafician - And is that her days haul from the classic Romanian distraction thefts?_niko
- Ok I've gone too far :) I'd like to apologize to Nadia, my reaction was to Graf who thinks the world lives under a rock and doesn't know the most famous_niko

Artificial Intelligence
I appreciate that people here have a more balanced/pragmatic view on this stuff. Seems like on X and other social media it's all either ridiculous levels of either hype or hatred towards AI. Understandably a lot of artists feel threatened by it but I think they take it too far at times.
- Not just artists, like 70% of jobs, but I like it, it's fun, but yes it will replace me way sooner than I retireYakuZoku
- Like a lot of anti-AI people feel the need to pretend that everything made with AI looks terrible even when it obviously doesn't.yuekit
- how many are - a lot- ?neverscared
- It's hard to say but definitely a vocal group of people. They seem to be mostly illustrators rather than graphic designers.yuekit
- Read this just now
https://piccalil.li/…grafician - For illustrators is kinda painful, as their unique styles are easily replicated by AIgrafician
- Nano Bananas, I just bananas.utopian
- Yuekit it’s not that it looks terrible just that it lacks any humanity I feel numb looking at it doesn’t interest or excite me the way human made work does._niko
- like boy bands or manufactured pop music, it's just all soul-less fake bullshit._niko
- well said, digital is soul-less fake bullshit :-)uan
- Yeah I hear what you're saying niko. There's a generic quality to a lot of the output, it's like autogenerated stock imagery.yuekit
- At the same time I've seen people train models on their own work and the result is indistinguishable from something they created themselves.yuekit
- So I think it may come down to a lack of control or specificity when you generate an image and it "snaps" to a more generic result.yuekit
- Rick Rubin recently said that ai has no perspective or point of view and that’s what he values most in art that personal voice._niko
- Yuekit, I get what you’re saying, I do dig a lot of the stuff qbners post on here, like I dig that phanlo’s ai work looks like his analogue work, it’s still his_niko
