Thank you Pitchfork for being the voice of reason: https://pitchfork.com/reviews/al…

I went right to Chat GPT today to generate ideas for a project without thinking for myself.
- I had to go to ChatGPT to ask what your post was aboutYakuZoku
- ChatGPT just told me that YakoZoku is a surfer that loves cats.utopian
- you thought for yourself going to chat gpt.. thats plenty enough thinking for startersneverscared

Vid of the Day
This is one of the most bat shit internet stories that deserves all the attention it is gaining, grab the popcorn....
- https://www.youtube.… "the american fork PD accidentally uploaded 50gb of unredacted bodycam to the public dropbox a couple hours ago"kingsteven
- Didn't finish watching yet but this whole doc is so much work: from planning to filming to editing. Crazy.Longcopylover
- I went down this rabbit hole hard, I’m up to date as of today and holy shit, this is wild. Should be in the America is fucked thread.slappy
- This feels staged for viewshydro74
- ^ its a weird one, weaponised youtuber is cringe but the story becomes much more about the response from CEO, franchisee and PDkingsteven
- sounds like a lawyer should have been involved much sooner https://youtu.be/HH0…Nutter
- ^ legal mindset on yt has vids on a load of the videos which are a bit more in depth. the relationship between the new franchisees and CEO is wild.kingsteven
- on the bodycam footage they say they were working for corporate and were told they could have the store for whatever they recovered...kingsteven
- ceo of bricks and minifigs (and i've read one of the franchisees too) previously worked at a legal firm which specialises in making clients "judgement proof"kingsteven
- it really does paint a picture that they knew exactly what was going on and without the publicity or the reckless ben vid this wasn't going anywhere.kingsteven
- ha just saw this... https://i.haasie.com… - so all three CEO and franchisees were mormon missionaries together :|kingsteven
- It seems Coffeezilla solved just about everything... https://www.youtube.…kingsteven
- and holy fuck the mcneff story (CEO and COO) and the hostile takeover of BAM. and so many vids about they have screwed franchisees and shady practices.kingsteven

Proud dads...
My son has started a youtube channel for his karting, he's been working, saving and wrenching late into the nights with me to get his setup dialled in. He's decided he's ready to go and race competitively. Really pumped for him.

- Not that I expect NYT to really get it, but growing up I had two Mecca spots: Brooklyn Banks and Undercroft. Never saw either.garbage
- Three actually, China Banks. Never got to go there either.garbage
- For me it was early 90s EMB, Love Park, and Burnsidewhatthefunk
- Love's a good one, also a never-been. Burnside is amazing and have been. But I'm a BMX guy so that means early, EARLY morning session and get out.garbage
- And for the record I'm brakeless, pegless and plastic pedals so I wasn't doing any damage.garbage
- They might be more lax on it these days, but it used to be a really contested spot.garbage
- Rad! I'm actually going to SF this summer to check off some bucket list spots, but sadly China Banks is history as of this morning.nocomply
- (Not that I'm going to skate any of the spots particularly well.)nocomply
- Wait, WHAT? What's this about the Banks?garbage
- China Banks is no longer, construction?
https://findskatespo…whatthefunk - I saw some stuff online about a final session that went down yesterday. I think construction started today.nocomply
- What remains of EMB is also under construction now, from what I hear.nocomply
- Ah bummer. Well be sure to hit up Pier 7 and go look at the Hideout while you're there.garbage
