It seems they closed the sending a message trick. But they closed it the day it launched and reopened it yesterday, so they might do it again in that fashion.
Keep those e-mails and keep trying every day a couple of times.

oh, I must have got in right before they stopped the "sending message" trick. Really it's like Facebook, but with a crappier UI and no one there... it's sort of like a waste land right now and depressing. At least on my side.
