If AIC were "Average 90s rock at best", what the fuck was I missing?

to me they are awesome, donno how people can still be comparing bands...

One of the best vocalists of all time. HIs range and style can't be matched.

with a new lead singer....

Hah @ Soundgarden > AIC.
- morilla0
and I despise what they are doing now. They should just stop. AIC is nothing without Layne. Let it go guys or play under a different name.

That range you hear is Jerry Cantrell sharing the vocal duties with him
"Jerry Cantrell would serve in Alice in Chains as the lead guitarist, co-lyricist , co-vocalist and main composer"

- This could actually be better than Nirvana Unplugged. Very close though.Poochie

One of my friends I used to skate with was obsessed with Layne Staley, and actually looked like him. He moved to Hollywood about 8 yrs ago to skate and become an actor.
Found out he's been filming the AIC movie...and he's Layne Staley. I'm sure he's touching himself now.

yeah, AIC was the shit in those days (so was Jane's addiction, soundgarden, melvins etc), but imo, the real brick shitters were Monster magnet (early work "spine of god", "tab") and Kyuss.
- YES! Kyuss, played Kyuss for so many...with a meh and the QOFSA cam and theychris_himself
- were all have you heard Kyuss!
