Does anyone have any pointers on how to do the image transitions at www.steffenjahn.com?
It may seem like simple fade but take a closer look.
Thanx in advance!

that is very cool and smooth..
does the latest flash not have any transparency blend options like burn, darken, screen etc.?
not sure but it looks like it to me.
i am no flash expert.

try instead of 'alpha' animate the image with 'advanced'. You can create a fade that looks like the photo is getting blown out, or conversely underexposed to black.
Give it a try. No blending mode funny business necessary.
