heh, of all those cities, seattle is by far the dirtiest. portland's sooooo gentrified! love that part of the world, though. heck, i even miss it from time to time...

Ottawa is quite clean. Lots of trees and wildlife. At least where I have lived, in the sheltered suburbs. One time a deer got out of the forest (which is surprisingly easy to get out of) and was trolloping around the sidewalks and driveways of various residents of Bells Corners, including myself. My mom almost had a heart attack because she almost hit the deer with her car. Anyway, I think it went to the forest at the end of the day.

i remember my experience of portland
2am downtown
i see a glitzy hotel with expansive cars outside, across the street is bon fire of barrels and homeless people. the gas station with no name with think bullet proof glass and metal bars. where i could barely make out the person behind the glass due to thick grease over the window. as i was about to put in the gas. a bum approched. as positioned my self in to a defensive, he said "you gotta pay before you pump" and slowly disappered in to the darkness of the street.

insted of calgary, you can move into my garage. There was a fire in there a while ago, and weve got a serious wasp problem, but it should keep you out of the elements.
