would you say still say Reason is most user-friendly for the novice out of the bunch...?

well see the thing is Reason is a 'Soft-Synth'. Meaning it's to be controlled with a standard MIDI-keyboard and played like a hair synth would. It just happens to have a great interface and a solid sequencer. Something that pushes it above the rest in my opinion.

I mean 'hard synth' not 'hair synth'. Some sort of Freudian slip. lol! You can export using Reason and then import into another sequencer if you like. However, you see Acid Music and other plain sequencers aren't really for producing music, they are for recording it and then resequencing it etc.

Is a bit mellow dnb electronica, and i agree, there's quite a lot of that around. Bet you're pretty good live though.
