Well, I've followed http://juniatwork.mrtio.com for some time now, and I just think she was born for vectorize.

extremely nice work
- FAT_HOM0
Especially considering it's all created in flash which isn't renowned for its drawing tools.
A tutorial on her process would be interesting...

Yeah, great stuff indeed.
But how would one go about exporting those images to a printable format?
Can you? It would be such a waste if you couldn't.
- ganon0
i dont understand why you would do it in flash...what a hassle...why not export as swf out of illustrator?...

damn, brooke once said something about it saying it was partly traced and and partly polished with gradients and stuff... and that it wasn't all that hard to do.. but i can't find that thread anywhere...
(really wish we had more search options on the PV-AN.....)
anyway, this site has been discussed before.... quite a few months ago.(if not last year).

I came across that site a few months ago through DIK. Lovely work.

janne, i had a feeling that was the case. when i was zooming in on it i could see some trace bitmap action going on.
but it looks nice anyway.. but its not all by hand.
didnt wanna say anything though because i was afraid someone would yell at me. eep.
- 4cY0
yup, it's definatly polished up tracework, still frigging nice tho.
- designorder0
i agree with you 4cY - trace bitmap for sure. but i love seeing people find alternate ways to use programs rather than what they are "intended" for. the computer is only a tool - and she uses it very well, amazing work. and such a nice clean site too.
