I am looking for a simple entry level synth or beatmachine for my son (9 years).
I have a teenage engineering PO 12, but that thing is too complicated and the display doesn't make sense for a kid.

Any suggestions other than the blipblox after dark?

  • Roland made a Groove Box, or somebody made it, pretty easy to make an entire track on that at that age.canoe

  • A Volca sample can be grabbed cheap. Very easy & immediate. Approachable. Perfect for a 9YO exploring beats and sequencing IMOletterhead
