Today got even better - met my first 'AI Designer' who completely doesn't understand wtf he's doing, or the [flat-]files that he's making that can't be edited, or indeed what an editable file would be. I couldn't really get wtf was going on until one of the files he sent over had 'copilot' in the filename, so I asked him. Aha. right then.
And, another job has been absolutely and utterly needlessly dragged out because my contact has been gatekeeping, either intentionally or just through an inability to use actual computers, delegating via a phone.
I finally got in contact directly with the designer who's been putting together their stuff, only to realise that all my communications I'd be sharing with my contact (to go onto the designer) were being sent on as useless screengrabs via whatsapp.
fffffffffffffffffffff.
The future's not bright, the future is ..well, probably still orange, what with global warming and whatnot. (Showing my age there with that reference).
- tbf, the copilot-named file was an editable PDF.. just not any of the other stuff he'd generated, included 'critical' 'brand' assets. All AI-generated flatfilesNairn
