    Remember when it was cool just to work a normal job, and be paid fairly, and then you'd be able to buy a house?

    These days, you basically either work harder than everyone else and get lucky, are born into wealth, or you're working a salaried job and still living paycheck to paycheck.

    • Also, homeowners who only own the home they live in believe the scam that housing prices going up is making them richer somehow.nb
    • So many of Americans’ problems start with the problem that they don’t understand money, compound interest, or personal finance.nb
